To be universally accessible, hi does not require the download of a new mobile application to start. Instead, you connect with your account through the world’s most popular social media and communication platforms. We are starting with Telegram and working to add Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Line - later we will add Viber, and KakaoTalk.
A new user can be invited via a referrers link (e.g. www.hi.com/nickname) to a hi channel in order to be registered as a referral of yours. You are entitled to 50% of new customer bonuses received by your referrals, including all downstream rewards they receive from referring others.

Fiat/Traditional currency is “legal tender” backed by a “central government.” It can take the form of physical dollars (e.g. paper Federal Reserve notes), or it can be represented electronically, such as with bank credit. A government controls the supply. Common examples include the US dollar, the Euro, and the Japanese Yen.
Digital/Crypto currency is not “legal tender” and it is not backed by a central government or bank (it is decentralized and global). An algorithm or smart contract controls the supply. Common examples include Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin.
The hi Dollar is our membership token and a cryptocurrency used for accessing the services offered by hi. Members can earn or buy hi Dollars and then can access services and benefits based on their membership tier. Think of it as a membership token that grants you benefits but will be resellable should you decide to end your membership.
The first 100,000 members to sign up for hi will receive a 100 hi Dollars each day for engaging with us (e.g. saying “hi”). After 100,000 members, the rate will adjust to 10 hi Dollars per day and after 10 Million members, to 1 hi Dollar per day. Referring friends to hi will also earn you additional hi Dollars. You may purchase additional hi Dollars through hi by using the “Buy hi Dollars” command, by visiting hi.com/hi-dollars and ultimately, through a number of reputable digital currency exchange partners (details will follow in due course).
hi Dollars is our membership token. By earning and depositing hi Dollars long term, you are a member and thus, entitled to services that will be offered by hi. You may buy or earn hi Dollars to increase your membership tier with increased benefits.
Know Your Customer (KYC) is a standard practice for any company offering
financial services. Identity verification as part of KYC protects our members against fraud, money
laundering and illegal activities in our ecosystem. Financial platforms are required by law to collect
this data from their customers and avoid the attempt of these types of financial crimes as part of
anti-money laundering (AML) measures.
For hi members, KYC will consist of submitting photos of a personal identification
document, address proof, and selfie. We use a partner to assist with the collection and secure store of
this information. Further details about KYC will be provided soon.
In order to claim your referral rewards, purchase hi Dollars, and/or withdraw money
from hi , you must pass a basic know-your-customer (KYC) check.
Flexible: Your money is truly mobile. Conveniently send cryptocurrency to friends with our web application or one of the chat channels. All members who have undergone KYC are also free to deposit and withdraw their crypto. The roll out of fiat services in the future will allow you to move your money around just as easily. Cryptocurrencies in your Current Account are withdrawable anytime.
Savings: Earn interest for all deposits. The amount of hi Dollars locked in your Savings Account determines your membership tier. Both HI and other cryptocurrencies transferred into your Savings Account earn interest based on membership tier. Interest is paid daily in hi Dollars into the member’s Current Account. Cryptocurrencies transferred into Savings are locked for 12 months.
Rewards Account: Your bonus hi Dollars are here. Members are encouraged to engage daily with hi in order to earn their Daily Rewards (New Member and Referral Bonuses). Earned HI are deposited into your Rewards Account at day end. No interest is paid for these bonus hi Dollars and they do not count towards your membership tier. hi Dollars in your Rewards Account will be released into Flexible after 12 months and KYC completion.

You should immediately deactivate your phone through the relevant manufacturer
service (e.g. icloud.com/find for iPhone and findmymobile.samsung.com for Samsung). As an added
precaution, you may freeze your account by contacting [email protected]. This is only possible for users
who have completed KYC as you will need to verify your identity in order to unfreeze your hi account.
Our custodians provide insurance on digital assets held by hi.
As we develop, we may seek to generate interest rewards by deploying assets. We will update the hi
membership on this at the appropriate time. We would only consider lending assets to reputable and
over-collateralized partners.
